Rock Band 2 dated for PS3, next game to support trophies?

PSU reports that Rock Band 2 will be released on October 19, 2008.
Rock Band 2 has received an official release date for the PlayStation 3 platform. While many gamers are still upset about the timed exclusivity that the title will receive on the XBOX 360, they can be rest assured that they will not have to wait long.
With Rock Band 2 releasing on September 14 for the 360, Sony fans will be waiting roughly a month for their chance to start rocking away once more. The PlayStation 3 version is set to release on October 19, which is coincidentally one month before the release of the Nintendo Wii version.

It's very well possible that Rock Band 2 will be the next PS3 retail game with trophy support. Trophies for Rock Band have been announced by Videogamer a couple of weeks ago. As always we will post details about the trophies on the Rock Band 2 trophies list once available.
