Sony is pushing developers to make PS3 Trophies different to Xbox 360 Achievements, VideoGamer.com has learned.
The new PS3 Trophy system, implemented in a recent Firmware update, is Sony's answer to the Xbox 360's Achievements system, which rewards players with a set number of Gamerscore points when they fulfil certain goals in game.
Saints Row 2 associate developer Dan Sutton told VideoGamer.com during a recent interview that Sony was pushing for exclusive in-game Trophies, and confirmed that developer Volition will implement different achievements for both versions.
