Just curious, and obviously not a question for the die-hard COD fans, since it's obvious that you would need to buy it.
Yes, there are changes in COD5, but in my view not enough to consider it a different game: as far as I can tell, looks more like COD4, version 2.0.
Ergo the question: is it worth buying, if I have already extensively played COD4, both the single and multiplayer aspects?

If you like modern weapons, then yes you will enjoy it too. the control layout is the same so there will not be anytime used getting used to moving and firing your weapons. best of luck.

sorry that I am posting so so late but in my perspective it is worth it to play it. as already stated by okie44 the controls are the same so I thinks thats why they have taken the training level out of it expecting users to have played cod4 already but in the game it does have things that pop up telling you what you need to press.
I think veteran mode on cod4 is a bit easier than this one and same with hardened and regular. I have not played recruit yet but will probably only for the gunslinger trophy when you have assasinate general amsel. if you prefer lots of automatic guns to choose from stick with cod4 as over half the guns in-game for cod5 are single-fire but some are semi-automatic. I beleive all of the "type" guns are auto. there is a variety of trophies you can earn by simply doing random things. all in all i think it is a great game if you like something a little diffrent and away from cod4. oh and before i forget watch out for banzai's they are all around the game when your a marine.
